The 5-2 Warriors earned a 52-41 victory over the previously unbeaten Juneau-Douglas Bears Wednesday in Wasilla. The Bears are ranked fifth in the 4A girls poll.
The Wasilla boys are one of four Valley teams to miss the top five, but still receive votes. The Warriors earned one vote and are seventh in the 4A poll. The Colony girls received three votes in the 4A girls poll, placing them eighth.
Both the Matanuska Christian boys and girls earned one point in the 2A polls.
