PALMER — The Wasilla Warriors used a pair of unanswered goals, including a penalty shot, to edge rival Palmer 2-1 Monday night at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.

Wasilla’s Dylan Harbour buried a penalty shot with 4 minutes, 40 seconds left in regulation to provide the game-winning goal. Harbour’s goal came just more than two minutes after Langston Bouma scored to tie the game at 1.

Palmer’s Darian Wilson gave the Moose the 1-0 lead 10 seconds into the first period.

Wasilla outshot Palmer 36-26 in the win. Palmer’s TJ O’Rourke stopped all 21 shots he faced during the first two periods, and 34 in the game. Wasilla’s Aaron Campbell made 25 saves.
