ANCHORAGE — Crystal Blair scored 20 points to lead the Ketchikan Kings to a 54-40 win over the Wasilla Warriors in the title game of the East T-Bird Classic at East Anchorage High School on Saturday.
Alexis Edwardson scored 18 for the Kings.
Carlee Naczi led the Warriors with 10 points.
Sophomore Alyssa Hutchins scored 17 points to lead Colony to a 59-49 win over host East Anchorage in the tourney’s third-place game.
Junior Kaitlyn Klapperich added 11 points for the Knights.
Palmer scored a 53-25 win over Thunder Mountain Saturday morning.
Kendal Venzke scored 13 in the Palmer win.

Malemutes edge Hawks
FAIRBANKS — Houston trailed by just one point at halftime, but Lathrop was able to pull away and score a 33-22 Mid-Alaska Conference win over the Hawks at Lathrop High School on Friday.
Savanna James led the Hawks with nine points.
On Thursday, Eielson needed a buzzer-beater to slip past Houston 23-22 on Eielson Air Force Base.

Knights post consecutive wins
ANCHORAGE — The Colony Knights rebounded from a first-round loss to grab consecutive wins during the final two days of the Alaska Prep Shootout at Dimond High School.
Colony capped its tourney play with a 49-44 win over Northern Lights Conference rival Soldotna on Saturday.
John Palmer, who was named all-tourney after the event, scored a game-high 28 to lead the Knights. Scott Herman added nine.
Palmer scored 26 duringa 49-41 win over Grace Christian on Friday.

Hawks fly past
Lathrop
FAIRBANKS — Houston came from behind to beat Lathrop 57-54 at Lathrop High School in Fairbanks on Friday.
Senior Zack Qual scored six of his game-high 15 points in a 17-point Houston fourth quarter.
The Hawks trailed by 10 points at the half, but used an 11-4 third-quarter run to get back into the game. The Hawks outscored Lathrop 17-11 in the final frame.

CHUGIAK — The Chugiak Mustangs earned a 52-35 nonconference win over the Palmer Moose at Chugiak High School on Friday.
Junior Christian Odom led Palmer with nine points. Senior Kyle Titus added eight.

ANCHORAGE — Despite a game-high 20 points from Wasilla sophomore Connor Devine, Hertiage Christian managed to score a 44-37 win over the Warriors at Heritage Christian School in Anchorage on Friday.
Jesse Miessner scored a team-high 15 points for the Eagles, one of the top schools at the 3A level.
