WASILLA — Jacob Gilbert tossed a one-hit shutout and led Wasilla to a 15-0 win over Palmer Monday night.
Gilbert fanned eight and didn’t walk a batter. Palmer’s Luke Guggenmos finished with the lone hit for the Moose.
Clayton Boyett drove in three runs to lead Wasilla at the plate. He also had two hits and scored twice. Six different Warriors scored two runs, and five drove in at least two runs.
Knights blank Homer
Zach Satterly pitched a complete game shutout to lead Colony to a 7-0 win over Homer Saturday in Palmer.
Satterly allowed only three hits, fanned seven and walked three. He also drove in two runs at the plate, and scored a run.
Seven different Knights finished with a hit. Bryant Marks and Carson McLaughlin also drove in runs.
