WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors used a big fourth quarter to beat the defending 3A state champions on their own court.
Wasilla scored 28 fourth-quarter points, and posted a 74-67 victory over Barrow Friday night in Barrow. Reilly Devine scored eight of his 14 points in the final quarter. Kobe Brown pitched in eight of his team-high 18 in the final frame. Isaac Houck added four free throws down the stretch for the Warriors. Houck was 10 of 13 from the free throw line, and scored 16 points. The Warriors were 26 of 35 from the line in the game.
Daniel Headdings and Aeron Milliron added 11 each.
Barrow rebounded to beat Wasilla 65-58 on Saturday. Houck led the Warriors with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Milliron added 14, while Headdings chipped in 10.
The Wasilla girls swept a pair of games in Barrow. Wasilla beat the Whalers 56-25 Friday and followed with a 60-49 victory Saturday.
