KENAI — This time the Wasilla Warriors capped a rally with a win.
A week after scoring 21 unanswered, but settling for 30-27 loss to West Valley, Wasilla used 18 unanswered points to grab a 24-20 nonconference victory over Kenai at Kenai Central High on Friday.
Tyler Anderson caught a late touchdown pass and the Wasilla defense used a goal-line stand to give the Warriors their first victory of 2011 and Kent Rilatos his first win as head coach of the Warriors.
In other action, Soldotna's Austin Tennis needed only seven carries to score five touchdowns during a 68-0 win over Houston. Juneau-Douglas held on to beat Palmer 29-13.
