KENAI — Wasilla rallied to score a 9-7 win over Kenai at Kenai on Saturday.
Wasilla scored two runs in the eighth inning and Tyler Boensch pitched two innings of relief to earn the win.
Wasilla took a 5-0 lead in the top of the second, but Kenai used four runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to jump on top.
Kenai forced extra innings with a run in the seventh.
Blake Carricaburu led Wasilla with three hits and two runs. Jake Grissom, Tyler Hansen, Ian Zwink and Jeffrey Forster added two hits each.
