WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors swept a pair of games against Northern Lights Conference rival Soldotna Friday night at Wasilla High School. The Wasilla girls used an early run to beat SoHi 43-28. The Wasilla boys beat the Stars 51-42.
In girls’ action, Wasilla opened the game on a 22-7 run. The Warriors also held the Stars to single-digit scoring in each quarter. Jazylnn Novelli led Wasilla with 15 points and Jordyn Cox added 14.
Bella Hays notched a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Luke Devine led the Wasilla boys with 18. Dylan Jeffus hit a trio of three-pointers and added nine.
