WASILLA — A trio of players scored twice to lead the Wasilla Warriors to a 7-0 win over the Homer Mariners at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena on Thursday.
Michael Johnston, Tim Workman and Zach Korsmo each scored a pair of goals to lead the Waiors to the Noth Star Conference win.
Freshman Cooper Hanson also scored his first career goal in the Warrior win.
Mike Edwards led the Warriors with three assists.
Wasilla returns to the ice tonight to host the Soldotna Stars at 7 p.m. at the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Ice Arena.
