Warriors skate to win over Hawks

Sayer Sanders scored a pair of goals to lead the Wasilla Warriors to a 6-2 prep hockey win over Houston Tuesday at the Menard Arena in Wasilla,

Karson McGrew, Dalton Hickey, Roman Holler and Branson Starheim also scored for the Warriors. Austin Petersen led Wasilla with a pair of assists.

Antim Konev and Andrey Reutov scored for Houston.

Houston outshot Wasilla 38-28. Jacob Barcelona made 36 saves for the Warriors.

Houston starter Ryan Preboski stopped 6 shots. Ari Burnside made 16 saves in relief.
