The Wasilla Warriors skated to a win and a tie against a pair of Anchorage opponents.
Wasilla blanked Service 6-0 on Friday and tied West Anchorage 3-3 on Thursday. Both games were at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla.
Grant Barksdale led the Warriors with a pair of goals against the Cougars. Dalan Dubie, Easton McRee, Branson Starheim and Karson McGraw also scored against Service.
Goaltender Jordan Pfile earned the 16-save shutout.
Starheim, Mason Varner and Sterling Myers scored for the Warriors against West. The Eagles outshot Wasilla 41-21 in the game. Goalie Bodey Davis made 38 saves in the tie.
Myers forced overtime for Wasilla, scoring with 6:21 left in regulation.
In other action, Colony beat Palmer 5-2 Friday at the MTA Events Center.
