WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors and Houston Hawks split a pair of games at Carl Fritzler Field in Wasilla on Monday.
The Warriors scored a lopsided 17-1 win over the Hawks.
Bryce Borngraeber and Ian Zwink combined to throw a three-hitter. Borngraeber fanned seven hitters in four innings.
Robert Rodamer led Wasilla with six RBI in the victory. Rodamer was also 3 for 4 with three runs scored. Cooper Hanson, Blake Carricaburu, Mitchell Chauvin and Zack Garnett added two RBI each.
In the first game of the doubleheader, Houston scored six runs during the final three innings to earn a 7-5 win over the Warriors.
