The Wasilla girls and boys swept a series against the Soldotna Stars at Wasilla High School over the weekend.
Layla Hays scored 18 points to lead the Wasilla girls to a 56-21 win over the Stars on Saturday. Mielee Merchant added 13. Mylee Abderson added nine.
Hays scored 13 in a 54-26 win on Friday. Merchant and Livia Brashears scored 10 each.
Parker Kroon scored 20 points during a 93-60 win over the Soldotna boys on Friday. Barak Wagle added 18, Jaidas Huffman finished with 12 and Arthur Adams had 11. The Warriors also beat SoHi 72-40 on Saturday.
The Palmer boys finished 0-3 at the O’Brady’s Invitational over the weekend at South Anchorage High School. The Moose suffered losses to South (57-33), Ninilchik (69-52) and Kodiak (41-32).
