Warriors use big inning to get past Palmer

The Wasilla Warriors used a big inning to jump past rival Palmer.

Wasilla scored eight runs in the fourth and posted a 13-3 victory over the Moose Tuesday at Wasilla High School.

Will Plowman notched a two-run double and also stole home in the fourth for the Warriors. Jacob Hansen, Calvin Stoll, Byson Malavee and Dayton Greer also drove in runs during the big inning.

Plowman finished 3 for 3, with three runs scored and two RBI. Hansen, Greer and Ty Dudley also drove in two runs. Hansen scored three times.

Jason Gunderson finished with a hit and an RBI for Palmer. Gabe Jaime had a hit and scored a run.

In other action Colony beat Service 14-2 in Anchorage. Colton Haase was 4 or 4 with six RBI. Kaden Ketchum had two hits, two runs and three RBI.
