The Wasilla Warriors advanced to the second round of the ASAA/First National Bank Alaska State High School Hockey Championships by defeating the No. 3-ranked Chugiak Mustangs 1-0 yesterday. Tanner Dutcher scored the game's only goal with slightly more than three minutes to go in the third period. The Warriors advanced to the semifinals today at 3 p.m. against the winner of the South Anchorage-West Valley contest.
The 2005 ASAA/First National Bank Alaska State High School Hockey Championships are being held at the Big Dipper Arena in Fairbanks.
