KODIAK — The Wasilla boys basketball squad advanced to the semifinals with a 60-42 win over the Kenai Kardinals during the first round of the Northern Lights Conference Championships basketball tournament at Kodiak High School Thursday morning.
Seniors Adrese LaVern and Tim Orr each chipped in a game-high 12 points in the Warrior win.
Wasilla will play either Colony or Skyview in the semis on Friday.
