KODIAK — The Wasilla Warriors captured the NLC title with a 55-53 win over the Soldotna Stars Saturday at Kodiak High School.
Senior Adrese LaVern scored 17 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to lead the Warriors to the come-from-behind victory. Wasilla trailed by double-digits early in the game.
