The city of Wasilla voted to certify its election results on Monday.
Of the 6,696 registered voters in Wasilla, 13.2 percent came out to the polls. Current City Councilman Mike Dryden retained seat A on the council, receiving 698 votes, to 48 write-in votes. Tim Burney retained seat B with 683 votes to 36 write-in votes.
The city of Houston had three races up for election. Gina Jorgensen leads John Meyer in the race for seat B. Jorgensen has 88 votes and Meyer has 82 votes. One write-in vote was cast for seat B. Kate Stavick won seat C with 149 votes to eight write-in votes, and Lance Wilson won seat D with 191 votes to 10 write-in votes.
The Mat-Su Borough will certify its results on October 15.
