The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce is celebrating an achievement as it has just been awarded the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics.
The BBB Foundation Torch Awards for Ethics honors organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character, ensure that the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics, and consequently generate trust with its customers and the community.
The Torch Awards regions include Alaska, Central Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho and Western Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges, are comprised of business and community leaders whose organizations have previously won a Torch or Spark Award, that review, evaluate and select the winners.
The Torch Award is one of the most prestigious honors a business can receive from Better Business Bureau and confirms our commitment to character, culture, customers and our community.
