Wasilla and Colony closed the prep baseball regular season with a pair of wins May 22.
Wasilla scored a 12-2 nonconference win over Soldotna at Wasilla High School. Colony beat rival Palmer 17-4 at the Palmer Senior Field.
Will Plowman, Jayce Crall and George McSorely led the Warriors with three hits each. Plowman finished with a double and a triple. Crall scattered seven hits over five innings and earned the win on the mound.
Karsen Spradling led Colony with three hits, two runs and three RBI during the win over the Moose. Spradling was one of seven Knights to score twice. Keon Leaders and Drake Gallagher had two RBI each.
Wasilla and Colony start Railbelt Conference tournament play Thursday. Top-seeded Wasilla plays fourth-seeded Lathrop at 4 p.m. Second-seeded Colony meets third-seeded West Valley at 7 p.m.
