PALMER — A Wasilla driver was among the winners during oval racing action June 16 at Alaska Raceway Park in the Butte area.
Tim Workman, of Wasilla, finished with 136 total points in the late models class. Workman edged Dana Pruhs of Anchorage by four points and third-place Justin Creech of Anchorage by five points. Legendary musher turned driver Lance Mackey scored another win in the legends class. Anchorage’s Aaron Creech won the baby grands class and Keith Jones finished first in the thunderstocks.
The speedway is hosting its Prowl for Power 907 Diesel Day Saturday and Sunday.
