Wasilla freshman Kylie Taylor is enjoying an incredible start to her prep soccer career.
Taylor scored five goals to lead Wasilla to a 5-0 nonconference win over West Valley Tuesday evening at Wasilla High School.
Taylor now has 10 goals and six assists during her first seven games of the season.
Makenna Hanson, Delany Tatum and Mickenzy Lofland finished with assists.
Over the weekend, Dani Steiner and Lainey Kroon scored two goals each to lead the Wasilla Warriors to a 5-0 Railbelt Conference win over Lathrop at WHS.
Allie Johnson also scored for the Warriors. Taylor led Wasilla with a pair of assists.
West Valley also made the trip down from Fairbanks and beat the Warriors 2-0.
The Colony girls swept the Interior opponents, beating Lathrop 6-0 and West Valley 2-1. The Colony boys split. The Knights edged Lathrop 2-1 and dropped a 3-1 loss to West Valley.
