\WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors used a 26-point first quarter to storm past Service 63-21 in nonconference girls’ basketball at Wasilla High Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors outscored Service 26-7 in the first quarter and 17-4 in the third. Leya DePriest led WHS with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Taylor Anderson added 12 points.
Friday, Chugiak used a 10-4 fourth-quarter run to slip past Wasilla 47-44 at WHS. DePriest collected 17 points and 12 rebounds.
