Wasilla High athlete wins women’s division of Moose Dropping Fun Run

TALKEETNA — Morgan Dampier, a prep runner at Wasilla High School, won the women’s division of the Moose Dropping Fun Run in Talkeetna last week.

Dampier finished the five-kilometer race, which was included as a part of the town’s Moose Dropping Festival, in 20 minutes and 27.4 seconds.

Max Grizwald was the first to cross the finish line and won the men’s division with a time of 18:34.9.
