Wasilla High School is in search of a head coach to lead its football program. The school is looking for candidates who have a demonstrated record of communicating well with teenage athletes, parents, coaches and WHS administrators; and demonstrated record of an organized, structured, and highly disciplined program. Candidates should also have the ability to provide an atmosphere which promotes the development of useful, loyal citizens, pursuit of excellence, and the respect for dignity of others; and willingness to make a personal sacrifice for the benefit of the team and to set a positive example through living by a high code of conduct.
Understanding of fundamentals, rules, and regulations for the sport.
Applicants must be able to meet the Wasilla High School schedule of events and practices, and have an understanding of the MSBSD and ASAA guidelines and commitment to follow them.
Previous head coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred. A minimum of three years assistant coaching experience at the high school level or higher is required.
