The Alaska State Troopers and Federal Bureau of Investigation were investigating a report of the kidnapping and assault of a teenage female in the Wasilla area.

On Nov. 3 at about 4:30 p.m., troopers received a 911 call that a teenager was found in the area of Sunrise Road and Sitze Road in the Wasilla area.

“The juvenile told troopers that she was abducted by an unknown male near her home on Pamela Drive and Windflower Drive in Wasilla around 3 p.m. During the abduction, the juvenile reported being assaulted by the male,” troopers said in an online dispatch posted Thursday.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Anderson about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3. After troopers interviewed Anderson, he was remanded without incident.
