MEADOW LAKES — A 63-year-old Wasilla man was arrested for drunken driving and driving without a license Wednesday after Alaska State Troopers pulled him over near the intersection of the Parks Highway and Pittman Road, following a report of a dangerous driver.
Troopers say they responded to the report around 4:48 p.m., May 7, and conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy truck with Danny Scott, 63, of Wasilla behind the wheel.
Troopers say investigation determined that Scott was driving drunk and that his driver’s license was revoked due to a prior DUI conviction.
Scott was arrested and the vehicle impounded. He was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer. His bail is set at $20,000, and he will need a third-party to watch over him, too.
