A Wasilla man is dead following an accident along Knik-Goose Bay Road early Sunday morning.
Alaska State Troopers received a report of a single-vehicle rollover at Mile 9 of Knik-Goose Bay Road at about 5 a.m. Sunday. Jack Duran, 23, of Wasilla, was dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Duran’s vehicle, a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban, was traveling northbound and the accident occured at a curve in the road, troopers said. The vehicle left the road and rolled. Duran was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
