WASILLA -- A Wasilla man died Wednesday afternoon after reportedly losing control of the all-terrain vehicle he was driving near Lucille Street in Wasilla.
Wasilla Police Department reported that Charlie David Armstrong, 51, was driving near the intersection of Lucille and Forest Avenue when he lost control of the ATV. The vehicle rolled down an embankment and ended up on top of him, according to a police report. Armstrong was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Wasilla Ambulance Station 61 and then on to Providence Hospital in Anchorage via LifeGuard Air Ambulance.
