Wasilla man indicted on sexual abuse of a child

PALMER — A 56-year-old Wasilla man has been indicted for sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl, court documents show.

Lupe Pouli faces two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree and a single count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree for alleged crime committed between October 2012 and October 2013, according to an indictment filed in Superior Court July 24.

Pouli was initially arrested June 17 in Fairbanks and arraigned in district court there in front of a judge, according to court documents, and transferred to Palmer Court July 17.

Pouli is being held without bail at Goose Creek Correctional facility.
