Troopers said Hendrickson had removed a case of beer from the car and gave it to an unidentified person just before troopers arrived. Also, he had buried some marijuana in a nearby snow berm, troopers said, adding that two loaded handguns were found in Chambers' possession.
Chambers was charged with driving under the influence, fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons, fifth-degree misconduct involving weapons and leaving the scene of an accident, troopers said. He was lodged at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail.
Hendrickson was charged with tampering with physical evidence and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, troopers said. He was lodged at MSPTF on $200 bail.
