WASILLA — The public is invited once again to the Wasilla Museum and Visitor Center’s 32nd annual Wasilla Community Christmas Celebration Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the museum and historic town site.
Individuals, groups and families can expect plenty to do at the museum. There will be music, wagon rides, and plenty of free hot cocoa, cider and cookies to go around. There will be an assortment of children’s activities.
This annual public event is one of many ways the city of Wasilla bands together to support the community during the holidays. The event culminates with Wasilla Mayor Bert Cottle lighting the big Wasilla Christmas Tree.
This event is completely free and no admission is required. The museum is located at 391 north Main Street in the heart of downtown Wasilla.
