WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors peppered the Bartlett net with 75 shots during an 8-0 win over the Golden Bears during the first round of the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Tournament on Thursday at the Menard Arena in Wasilla.
Junior Trent Wohlers scored three times during Wasilla's five-goal fifth to lead the Warriros. Jeremiah Walker scored twice for WHS. Chancie Hanson, Zach Korsmo and Brett Keene also scored.
Chris Yaskus stopped 10 shots to earn the shutout in net. Bartlett goalie Stephen DeBoer made 67 saves.
In other action, Dimond skated to a 7-1 win over Dimond. Kevin Boyer scored Colony's lone goal.
