WASILLA — Wasilla jumped to an early lead, and scored a 10-4 prep softball win over Soldotna Saturday at the Alcantra Fields in Wasilla.
Alyssa Simmons used a home run to help spark Wasilla’s seven-run first inning. The Warriors batted around in the inning, and seven of the nine players in the order scored in the first. Soldotna scored three of its four runs in the third inning.
The Warriors also scored a 11-3 win over Homer on Friday.
Hannah Zwolinski and Deborah Polk scored two runs each for the Warriors. Wasilla scored four times in both the third and the fifth innings.
In other action, Homer scored a 10-2 win over Colony.
