The Wasilla Rotary Club is hosting its annual children's Christmas events the week following Christmas, with showings of a movie and ice skating part of the schedule.
On Dec. 27, the event kicks off with a showing of "Cheaper by the Dozen," starring Steve Martin, at 11 a.m. at Mat-Su Cinema.
On Dec. 28 from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., the Wasilla High School pool is the place to be for kids who want to go swimming.
The children's events finish up on Saturday, Jan. 3 with ice skating from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Each year, the Rotary Club hosts children's events around the Christmas holiday, giving students something to do while not in school during the break.
