The Palmer Moose jumped to an early lead, but the Wasilla Warriors used 20 unanswered runs to score a 22-5 prep softball win over the Moose Tuesday night.
Wasilla plated eight runs in the second and another nine in the fourth. Palmer had a 5-2 advantage after the first.
Six different Warriors score at least three runs. Maylee Metcalf led the Warriors with four runs scored. Selah Sundberg drove in four in the win. Four others had two RBI for Wasilla.
Rylei Doyle and Jane Meals led Palmer with two RBI each.
Carsyn Nunley led Redington to a 13-10 win over Houston. Nunley finished with three hits, three RBI and two runs. Leneah Shaishnikoff added three hits and three runs. Rylee Daw had three hits, two runs and two RBI.
Madelyn Seime led Houston with two runs and two RBI. Bailey Katzenberger added two RBI.
Redington held a 5-2 lead after the fifth. The rivals combined for 13 runs in the sixth.
Colony scored wins over a trio of Anchorage teams last week. The Knights beat Dimond 17-0, Bartlett 3-1 and West Anchorage 24-0.
Alli Morrissey allowed only one run and fanned six in the win over Bartlett.
Colony had a 12-run second inning in the Dimond win. Morgan Gallagher had two hits, two runs and three RBI. Morrissey led Colony with three runs.
Taylor Passard drove in four runs during the victory over West. Malana Bell and Emma Minnick added three RBI each.
