LAS VEGAS, Nev. — A pair of Wasilla sisters have had a successfull first day of the World Masters of Junior Golf.
Madison Baca, 12, shot an 80 on the mountain course of Angel Park Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nev., on Monday and sits tied for fourth-place in the girls’ 11-12 division.
Ryna Baca, 14, finished with a 78 and is in sixth place of the girls’ 13-14 division.
The three-day event, sponsored by Taylor Made, does include a cut on the second day. The top six players in each age group advance to the final day of the event.
