Before attending to the business of the city at a regularly scheduled Wasilla City Council meeting, recently re-elected council members Catherine Cottle and Stu Graham were sworn into office.

Council members Cottle and Graham were re-elected during the October 1 elections.

“Congratulations to our new council members,” said Council member Ian Crafton. “Looking forward to continue doing some great stuff. We’ve already done quite bit this year, so looking forward to keep moving forward.”

“I’m very honored and privileged to be able to serve on this council for the next three years. I look forward to serving,” said council member Cottle.

After council members Graham and Cottle were sworn in, council and attendees celebrated with cake and refreshments before getting back to business.

There will be a special city council meeting on November 18 to rewrite Title 16-Land Development Code.
