PALMER — A Wasilla teen is dead after a fall in the Hatcher Pass area Friday evening.
Alaska State Troopers have identified Zachary Campbell as the deceased. According to troopers, the 18-year-old died after, “injuries sustained from a fall on an elevated position on the ridgeline.”
Troopers were among emergency responders who initially reported to the Skyscraper Ridge area after authorities received a call just after 5:30 p.m. Friday.
According to the release, Campbell had at least one relative at the scene.
