Wasilla weed clearing a good idea

To the editor,

I entirely agree that the new aquatic weed eater is a good thing to put into place. Clearing that waterway of the overgrowth of weeds will significantly reduce the amount of boat screws snagged and plane floats snared. Additionally, with the water cleared of the marshy grasses, the dam in Lake Lucille can function more efficiently because the water level will be easier to regulate. Furthermore, the benefits of the removal of those tangling weeds extend even to the ecosystem of the lake itself, with the weeds no longer absorbing all of the nutrients from the lake bottom before anything else can live off of them.

Also, as a final added bonus, the lakes that will be cleaned of their overgrowth will definitely become more aesthetically pleasing to those seeking to spend a serene summer evening somewhere with a smooth lake surface. In conclusion, the implementation of this weed eater will benefit everybody and everything that utilizes the waters to be cleaned, and the well written article covered the topic greatly.
