WASILLA — A 20-year-old woman was arrested for driving drunk and endangering a child after Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance off of Ocean Avenue around 9:40 p.m., April 22.
According to an Alaska State Trooper dispatch, troopers responded after a call reporting that an intoxicated individual was driving a 1995 white Ford Escort northbound on Knik-Goose Bay Road with a 5-year old child in the vehicle.
Troopers say they stopped the vehicle near Mile 2, Knik-Goose Bay Road and made contact with the driver, Arielle L. Hausmann, 20, of Wasilla.
Hausmann was arrested for DUI; minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol; endangering the welfare of a child in the first-degree; and minor consuming alcohol.
She was transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and held with her bail set at $1,500.
