Wasilla woman charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor

Marcella Castoe, 38, of Wasilla, was arrested May 4 and has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor.

“Investigation determined Castoe sexually abused several juveniles over the course of several years,” troopers said in an online dispatch.

Troopers also believe there may be other potential victims of Castoe in the Palmer and Wasilla area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the troopers at 745-2131 and reference case number AK20030173.

Castoe was arraigned on May 6.

According to online court documents, Castoe is currently facing five felony charges.

The list includes three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

Castoe is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing June 24.
