One person has died after a vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles, on North Seward Meridian Parkway near Palmer-Wasilla Highway in Wasilla Thursday afternoon.
According to the Alaska State Troopers, 19-year-old Jessalyn Helms of Wasilla was involved in a collision that left her with serious injuries. Helms was transported by emergency responders to Mat-Su Regional Hospital for life threatening injuries. She was later pronounced deceased while at the hospital. Next of kin was notified.
