Wasillas best efforts cant stop Kardinals

The Wasilla Warriors gave their all in the pool earlier this month, but were unable to out-swim the Kenai Kardinals.

Oct. 9 the Warriors played host to Kenai. The Wasilla boys lost 46 to Kenais 131, while the girls gave up a closer margin of 57 to Kenais 98.

But there were a few highlights for the Warriors. Ben Redd claimed two first-place victories, one in the 100 freestyle and another in the 100 backstroke. Wasillas Kathy Taylor took first in the 50 freestyle, and Don Whittom dove to a first place in the 1 meter diving.
