To the editor:
If we can imagine that intelligence and emotion are characteristics of empty space that have a natural “urge for outward expression,” then we can assume that some combination of intelligent direction and emotional pressure came together and formed a God-like force of Primordial Logic, which exploded in a Big Bang. The intelligent characteristics of Primordial Logic are expressed by the laws of physics that change energy into matter, while the emotional nature of Primordial Logic is expressed by chemical reactions in certain organic molecules that have a will-to-live. In other words, matter and life are outward expressions of Primordial Logic’s intelligent and emotional nature.
The ever-present “urge for outward expression” brings about constant changes in Earth’s environment that cause life to evolve, including the development of man’s self-conscious mind. Man’s use of reason and awareness of emotion form an “inner-self” from the thoughts and feelings that determine the values, beliefs, hopes and dreams of a human being. However, a human inner-self is made up of the non-physical attributes of memory, imagination, intellect and will that are not subject to the laws of physics, and when we die our inner-self will continue to exist as a soul in a spiritual realm of existence where we will more fully understand that expressing Primordial Logic is the ultimate purpose of being. Intelligence is outwardly expressed by the laws of physics, emotion is outwardly expressed through the fears and desires of life, and the creative possibilities of Primordial Logic are outwardly expressed through the intellectual knowledge and emotional passion of human beings.
More simply put, a natural “urge for outward expression” impelled the intelligent nature of Primordial Logic to employ intelligent principles of perfection to the functions of the physical universe, which is perfect because there can be no improvement in the intelligent results of the laws of physics. On the other hand, the emotional realm of life is far from being perfect because the fears and desires of human passion are a constant source of conflict. However, the principles of human cultural values, which are applied to human survival and the greater good of all, are also based on intelligent principles of perfection, which results in a higher standard of living that enables the human race to continuously get better and better, even though most individuals are at odds with each other because of their different levels of intellectual and emotional progress.
If individual people hope to enjoy the benefits of “perfect principles,” they must learn to utilize them in their own life. Attempting to do so enables individuals to continuously get better and better, which results in making us as good as we can be — at least for now.
