J’s World has gone global. As the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman takes a giant leap into the 21st century, with the introduction of the Frontiersman blogs, Frontiersman sports editor Jeremiah Bartz is joining the world wide blogosphere with the J’s World Sports Blog.

Here, Bartz will follow in the path of bloggers, both amateur and professional, and share his views of the sports world from his perspective as a small town sportswriter. Bartz will also throw out some news and notes, or facts and figures, that may or may not find a spot in the regular pages. There’s plenty to blog about — high school sports, Alaska Avalanche, Mat-Su Miners, etc — and it could also turn into a good place for readers to keep track of Valley athletes who have gone beyond the fields, floors and rinks of the Mat-Su Valley.
