PALMER — Palmer dropped a close five-game match to West Valley Thursday (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 20-25, 15-12).
Jenna Arlow helped keep Palmer close with her 34 assists in the match, along with Morgan Morfe with 15 kills and a hat trick of aces on the serve, while Jessica Dennis added 11 kills. On defense, Chantel Grover recorded 16 digs for the Moose.
Julia Mackey led the way for West Valley on the front line with 16 kills, while teammate Hannah Mattson had 15 of her own, along with three blocks. Callie Franz also helped bolster Palmer up front with five blocks, while Megan Olsen added five kills.
