What's next, editing ‘La Boheme?’

To the editor:

This is regarding the worry over the Wasilla choir’s choice of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” for graduation. The song is a rock opera, hence the lyrics about death, disrespect and high drama. What’s next, editing “La Boheme?” “Bohemian Rhapsody” is a complex piece requiring capable musicians and hard work to master it.

I applaud the choir for tackling this piece of music that reflects the drama of the journey the graduates are embarking on. You know, sometimes a fun song is just a fun song.
