What’s wrong with drilling in the U.S.?

To the editor:

According to the newspapers, oil companies on the North Slope will drill oil for Russia. There is more oil on the North Slope and the Beaufort Sea. If you go 300 or more miles north of Harrison Bay, Beechey Point, Flaxman Island and Barter Island, make a square of it and about 70 percent of that is covered with oil patches.

As everyone knows, for 70 years the Russians had its own special jihad against the U.S. Putin is doing the same thing today and the oil companies want to help them out. The Russians would like to do the same thing as the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

If you’re drilling oil in Russia, you’re backing Putin’s jihad. What’s wrong with drilling in the U.S.?

Just my opinion.
