Where are the plows?

To the editor:

As I watched the news on TV tonight, I had to wonder.

The lead story in Anchorage was “snowplows on the roads.” So how come Wasilla doesn’t get snowplows on the road? Not one single plow has hit the road in the Valley (at the time of the writing of this letter). Well, except for the 19-year-old kid next door.

What’s with that? As of this witting, the largest dump is done. Some roads have 18 inches of snow at the intersections and it seems the Mat-Su Borough and DOT could care less.

Where are they and why the delay?
